Rx Deracoxib Chewable Tablets

Deracoxib Chewable Tablets are a prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) from the coxib class, designed to manage postoperative pain and inflammation in dogs. These tablets are effective for orthopedic and dental surgery pain, as well as for controlling discomfort and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis. Flavored for easier administration.

• Postoperative Dental Pain and Inflammation: Administer 0.45–0.91 mg/lb/day (1–2 mg/kg/day) as a single daily dose for 3 days. Begin the first dose approximately 1 hour before dental surgery, with daily doses for up to two additional days as needed.
• Postoperative Orthopedic Pain and Inflammation: Administer 1.4–1.8 mg/lb/day (3–4 mg/kg/day) as a single daily dose, up to a maximum of 7 days as needed.
• Osteoarthritis Pain and Inflammation: Administer 0.45–0.91 mg/lb/day (1–2 mg/kg/day) as a single daily dose, as needed.

Warnings: Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion by humans, seek medical assistance. For use in dogs only; do not use in cats. NSAIDs may cause gastrointestinal, renal, and hepatic toxicity.
