This adaptable tree provides reliable shade in summer, then puts on one of the most brilliant displays of red, orange, and yellow foliage in autumn. It is drought, heat, and pest-resistant, making it an ideal, long-lived tree for streets and gardens.

• Develops a strong, well-structured, and broad canopy that provides excellent, dappled shade as it matures.

• Note: Female trees (the standard species) produce small, inedible red berries in fall that can be messy on hardscapes and may attract birds. For a fruitless option, choose the male cultivar ‘Keith Davey’.
