Drontal Broad Spectrum Dewormer for Cats and Kittens, 50 Tablets
Drontal® Broad Spectrum Dewormer Tablets effectively eliminate tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis), hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme), and large roundworms (Toxocara cati) in cats and kittens. Each tablet is scored for easy breaking and contains 18.2 mg praziquantel and 72.6 mg pyrantel base (as pyrantel pamoate). Suitable for cats and kittens over 2 months old and 2 pounds. Confirm the presence of parasites via fecal examination before treatment.
Administer the correct dosage as a single oral treatment based on the cat’s body weight:
- 2-3 lbs: 0.5 tablet
- 4-8 lbs: 1 tablet
- 9-12 lbs: 1.5 tablets
- 13-16 lbs: 2 tablets
CAUTIONS/WARNINGS: Keep out of reach of children. Consult your veterinarian before use in sick or pregnant animals. Store at 20°C-25°C (68°F-77°F), with brief excursions allowed between 15°C-30°C (59°F-86°F). Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 40°C (104°F).
