Description
The Pindo Palm, or Jelly Palm, is a handsome, cold-hardy, and adaptable palm known for its gracefully arching, blue-green to silver-green feathery fronds and its edible fruit. The fronds curve downward toward the tips, giving the canopy a soft, weeping appearance. It develops a thick, stout trunk covered with the stubs of old leaves. Its tolerance for cold, drought, and a variety of soils makes it an excellent and versatile choice for many temperate and subtropical landscapes.
