Description

Red Prince Weigela is a vibrant deciduous shrub prized for its profuse display of deep red, trumpet-shaped flowers in late spring. Its blooms are notably darker and richer than many other red weigelas, creating a striking visual impact. The dark green foliage provides a good backdrop and may develop purplish tints in fall. This upright, arching shrub is easy to grow and reliably reblooms sporadically throughout the summer, especially if spent flowers are lightly deadheaded.
