The Reinsman Josey-Mitchell 3-piece Fast Gag Bit is a great choice for horse that need help picking up their shoulder. This shorter shank bit gives a moderate amount of “whoa”. This 3-piece twisted wire mouth with the copper dog bone keeps the horse’s attention without being too severe.

Part of the Martha Josey collection. Gag action sends a warning signal to the horse before the pressure is applied. The three-piece mouth with dog bone offers additional leverage to the corners of the mouth providing a responsive feel. The 5.5″ three-piece medium twist with wrapped dog bone mouth is 5/16″ in diameter with 7″ cheeks.
