Description
Pittosporum eugenioides, commonly known as Tarata or Lemonwood, is a fast-growing, evergreen tree or large shrub native to New Zealand. It is prized for its striking, wavy-edged, light green to yellow-green leaves that emit a strong, refreshing lemony fragrance when crushed . In spring, it produces clusters of small, honey-scented, yellow flowers, followed by small, green, oval berries. With its upright, dense habit and remarkable adaptability, it is an excellent choice for creating a fast privacy screen, a fragrant hedge, or a bold specimen plant in larger gardens.
